Welcome to MJV Groundsmiths! While we may be a new name in landscaping, our owner Michael brings over 20 years of landscaping experience. He grew up in the Dexter area and works full time for the schools system in a variety of roles. Starting his journey at just 11 years old, he bagn by mowing lawns for neighbors. Michael also grew up helping run equipment for his fathers excavation company. He has expanded his passion into a full-service company, now offering landscaping, snow removal, land clearing, gravel driveway installation, and excavating to meet your needs. He prides himself on delivering honest and timely work, ensuring that even the smallest projects receive the attention they deserve. In fact, he specializes in the smaller jobs that the big companies don't have time for. Michael works primarily on his own. If a job requires more workers, he has many talented workers on call. Keeping the company small, keeps costs down. Michael also rents most of the equipment he uses, lowering his overhead and passing the savings on to you, the customer.
